maximize the strengths of independent wall & ceiling distributors throughout the United States. Today AMAROK serves
167 member-owners with 300 locations nationwide, representing over $2 billion in annual sales, and has grown to become
one of the most respected purchasing groups within the building materials industry.

AMAROK was established to ensure the survival and growth of the Independent Drywall Distributor. The existence
of AMAROK allows independent businesses to use their combined purchasing power to attain competitive pricing for the
goods and services they use. At a time when the relentless expansion of manufacturer owned distributor networks,
large multi yard chains, and big box home improvement retailers is intensifying, independently owned operations have
turned to AMAROK to help level the playing field with these large competitors.

The name AMAROK means "wolf" in the Inuit (Eskimo) language. The word has been used in literature to signify the
